During the summer, interns will play meaningful roles in supporting internal and external stakeholders in various departments. Throughout the program, interns will expand their collaborative team skills, business-to-business acumen, technical knowledge and understanding of lending as it relates to insurance premium finance. Our internship offers exposure to senior leaders within AFCO Direct and a support network of mentors and peers._ **_Internship Focus_** **_Sales Marketing_** + **_College/University major, minor and/or specific coursework desired - Marketing, Communications, Insurance, Business Administration, Finance_** + **_Professional Interests - Digital Marketing, Marketing Automation, Sales, Project Management, Data Analytics_** + **_Skill Sets - Excel, PPT, Adobe Experience Manager, CRM, strong verbal and written communication skills, collaborative, social media content creation_** _Interns will have networking opportunities with previous interns who are now employed with Truist. They will also have the ability to participate in a_ _n_ _internship kick-off event, and a_ _n end of summer_ _event._ **_Work Location_** _Remote_ _- Various_ **_Essential Duties and Responsibilities:_** _Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Work with assigned area of the company (AFCO Direct insurance premium finance) to expand knowledge of B2B lending,_ _the_ _insurance industry and the company._ _2. Complete specific projects for departments._ _3. Assist department staff with various tasks in support of business._ _4. Participate in internship meetings and discussions across Truist and AFCO Direct._ _At the end of the internship period, be prepared to:_ _· Share a presentation that outlines your internship experience_ _· Meet with the internship committee to evaluate the experience_ _· Evaluate future career objectives_ **_Required Skills and Competencies:_** _The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. The hourly wage for this position is $25hr. **General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation:** All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
