Utah Cancer Specialists is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic team committed to providing exceptional oncology care. In this vital role, you will work in our clinics alongside physicians, nurses, pharmacy staff and patients.
General Statement of Duties: Assures appropriate mixing and dispensing of IV and oral chemotherapy agents. Conducts duties associated with medication administration, patient education, and therapy optimization. Contributes to medication use management by taking into consideration medication efficacy, toxicity, pharmacoeconomics, and patient outcomes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of community clinic and pharmacy operations.
Ability to manage multiple and varied responsibilities.
History of accuracy, punctuality, reliability, positive patient interactions, and high performance in autonomous conditions.
Skilled in de-escalation of stressful situations, use of pharmacy technology solutions, and communication with health care professionals.
Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy required.
