Job Description

The Creative Art Director leads the visual direction of film, TV, live events, and streaming projects. This role combines creative vision, technical skill, and team leadership to deliver compelling visuals that support storytelling. Working closely with directors, producers, and designers, the Art Director ensures each project meets creative goals while staying on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Concept Development

• Collaborate with directors and production designers to define the visual style and tone.
• Create concept art, mood boards, and storyboards to communicate the vision.
• Research visual references to inform design decisions.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a creative team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Assign tasks, provide direction, and ensure alignment with the artistic vision.
• Oversee schedules, budgets, and quality control for the art department.

Visual Execution

• Supervise the design and implementation of sets, props, costumes, effects, and graphics.
• Approve visual assets and ensure consistency across all elements.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain a unified visual approach.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with stakeholders to align creative output with project goals.
• Present concepts and gather feedback from clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate on set and location planning to support production needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field
• 5+ years of experience as an Art Director or similar role, preferably in entertainment
• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling and design expertise
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling, video editing, and project management tools
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills
