We are seeking a skilled electrical professional who can work independently, handle complex installations, and deliver high-quality workmanship across commercial HVAC, lighting, and controls projects.
🔧 Position Overview
We are hiring an Electrical Journeyman with extensive hands-on experience in installing, altering, and repairing electrical systems, conduits, conductors, and related equipment in commercial and industrial settings .
This is a field-based role requiring strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and the confidence to work with minimal supervision.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
✔ Travel to various project locations daily
✔ Install and troubleshoot electrical systems in accordance with NEC codes and safety standards
✔ Install and retrofit LED lighting systems in commercial offices, data centers, and manufacturing plants
✔ Install automatic temperature control wiring, devices, and related components
✔ Maintain job sites—clean, safe, and organized before and after work
✔ Ensure compliance with all customer and company safety policies
✔ Opportunity to learn and support programming of control and alarm points
📌 Required Qualifications
🔸 Minimum 4+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
🔸 Journeyman/Wireman certification or equivalent
🔸 Strong knowledge of electrical practices, materials, instruments & equipment
🔸 OSHA certification & safety-focused mindset
🔸 Lift/Scaffold operator certification
🔸 Valid New Jersey driver’s license
🔸 Ability to handle a fast-paced, multi-appointment daily schedule
🔸 Professional appearance, punctuality, teamwork, and strong communication skills
🔸 Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work on ladders, and perform duties in various weather conditions
Residential-only experience is not a fit for this role.
