Escrow Support (Temporary)

• Position Type: Temporary (approx. December 1 – March 31; covering maternity leave)
• Location: On-site in Chapel Hill
• Team Size: Approximately 6 members (including coordinators and specialists)
• Work Hours: Standard business hours, roughly 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

• Primary Focus: Administrative and escrow support to cover duties while the regular team member is out
• Key Responsibilities:
• Use CertifID and ClosingLock platforms to verify wiring instructions
• Contact parties by phone to confirm details — must have professional phone presence
• Prepare and send closing packages (FedEx labels, document prep, etc.)
• Assist with data entry in SoftPro Select and possibly handle deposits
• Move funds between main and subaccounts under supervision
• Support escrow and closing coordination tasks as needed

• Skills & Experience Desired:
• Tech-savvy and banking-aware (familiar with online deposits, wires, transfers)
• Comfortable handling money flow and basic accounting/ledger concepts
• Excellent phone communication and professional demeanor
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Familiarity with real estate closings or mortgage / banking background would be ideal
• Candidates from real estate brokerage or banking may be a strong fit

• Other Requirements:
• Must have clean credit due to access to online banking systems
• Will not have approver rights but will have limited account access
• Fully in-office role (no remote work)
• Ideally comfortable with a short-term 4-month temporary assignment
