Schedule : Mon-Fri 8a-5p

Food Molecular Laboratory Technologist Daily Tasks: What you will do:

• Process and prepare food samples and perform molecular testing including ddPCR/RT-PCR and whole genome sequencing (WGS).
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment while following SOPs, QA/QC standards, and safety protocols.
• Record, analyze, and communicate test results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support lab operations such as specimen receiving, experiment setup, autoclaving, cleaning, and inventory management.
• Collaborate with internal partners and public health teams, making time-sensitive decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Food Molecular Laboratory Technologist Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in a food testing or molecular laboratory setting.
• Hands-on experience with ddPCR, RT-PCR, and whole genome sequencing
