*Hybrid in Westlake, TX*

We're seeking a strong Data engineer to perform senior level work to analyze and improve both existing legacy systems (mainframe) while also working cross functionally with developers, DevOps, cloud, and testing to perform both ETL tasks and database related tasks in our RDBMS systems to work directly for Eliassen Group's clients on a long term initiative exclusive to Eliassen Group.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $55 - $65 / hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Develop complex SQL queries (PL-SQL, triggers, functions, stored procedures, et cetera) from scratch
• Integrate different techniques to optimize and tune within public cloud ecosystems
• Analyze large data sets, and perform development focused on resilience, stability, and scalability
• Work in large complex distributed ecosystems on applications running with Java / Python
• Perform unix commands, work with CICD processes, code repo (I.E. Jenkins, Git, Artifactory) for user stories
• Work cross functionally in an agile/scrum environment
• Write and develop strong ETL functions for either Informatica, Snowflake/AWS/Azure (Cloud based) tools, or Snaplogic

Experience Requirements

8+ years of progressive experience in design and development of data-related systems, components, and/or applications

Education Requirements

Bachelors Degree required

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
