Hair & Make-up Designer/Director: Trollwood Performing Arts School
Collaborate with professionals from across the nation at Trollwood Performing Arts School, a unique youth arts organization producing a high-quality musical in the outdoor amphitheater at Bluestem Center for the Arts in Moorhead, MN. Seeking Hair & Makeup Designer for Disney’s FROZEN, directed by Broadway veteran, Becky Gulsvig. Collaborate with the Director, prepare written research and renderings outlining a vision for the hair and makeup elements of the production. Create and implement all aspects of hair and makeup design. Lead team of students through build and production process all the way through strike.
Preferred Qualifications: Degree in technical theatre, minimum 2 years-experience in similar position. Expertise in developing hair and makeup concepts for musical theatre and ability to lead a team in producing the artistic vision of the show. Highly proficient in hair and makeup techniques. Candidate must possess ability to teach youth and work outdoors.
Contract: On-site, full time from June 3 to August 6, 2026. Not affiliated with any unions.
Salary: $11,280; travel stipend, housing provided.
