Job Description

The McCullough Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and mission-driven individual to join our team as a  McCullough Foundation Fellow for 2025–2026. This prestigious fellowship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact public health research, advocacy, and communications at one of the nation's leading voices for medical freedom and scientific integrity.

Position Overview:

The Fellow will work closely with the Foundation's President, Administrator, and Secretary to advance original research, craft influential scientific publications, manage public-facing communications, and support strategic initiatives that are actively shaping national health policy discussions. The role is flexible and designed for individuals passionate about public health, scientific integrity, and creating real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a lead or co-author on a minimum of four peer-reviewed manuscripts annually.
  • Publish at least three daily posts across all McCullough Foundation social media platforms (content includes original graphics, video clips, and analysis).
  • Engage with the public through social media and media interviews.
  • Assist with basic video editing tasks (Training provided).
  • Represent the McCullough Foundation at conferences, seminars, and select legislative hearings.
  • Maintain a professional public profile as a McCullough Foundation Fellow on personal bios and social platforms.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and visibility of Foundation projects that drive national conversation and reform efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in public health, epidemiology, biomedical sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong writing skills and a demonstrated ability to produce scientific or policy content.
  • Experience or interest in social media management and public communication.
  • Familiarity with scientific research processes and publication standards.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting regular deadlines.
  • Passion for advancing public health, scientific transparency, and citizen advocacy.
