Paralegal/ Legal Assistant

Location: Los Angeles Office

Department: US Legal; Business Integrity Team

Reports to: Senior Paralegal

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Paralegal or Legal Assistant to provide legal and administrative support to our Legal team at a fast-paced global e-commerce fashion company. This role will focus on day-to-day legal operations, supporting contract workflows, and assisting with corporate governance, compliance, and intellectual property matters. It offers the opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of legal functions while working closely with senior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contracts & Documentation
  • Prepare, review, and organize routine agreements such as NDAs, vendor contracts, and service agreements.
  • Maintain electronic filing systems and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Corporate & Compliance Support
  • Assist with drafting and maintaining corporate records, filings, and databases.
  • Support compliance-related projects, including internal audits, regulatory updates, and policy tracking.
  • Intellectual Property & Brand Protection
  • Coordinate with external counsel on routine IP matters.
  • Support IP infringement takedown requests.
  • Litigation & Dispute Management
  • Provide administrative support for ongoing disputes, including gathering documents, maintaining case files, and coordinating with outside counsel.
  • Assist with e-discovery and IP enforcement actions as needed.
  • Team & Cross-Functional Support
  • Conduct basic legal and regulatory research regarding various issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Procurement, Marketing, etc.) on legal requests and information gathering.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and communications for internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in optimizing Legal Operations, including creating and maintaining legal workflows and legal management systems.
  • Performing other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department (experience in e-commerce, fashion, or retail a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be tech savvy. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with contract or document management systems is a plus.
  • An eagerness and willingness to help others and learn new technologies and processes.
  • Highly collaborative and team player.
  • Discreet and professional in handling confidential information.
