Patient Coordinator / Medical Assistant (Bilingual – Spanish)

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Practice: Batal Plastic Surgery

Batal Plastic Surgery is a leading cosmetic surgery practice in Santa Monica known for delivering exceptional patient care and transformative results.

We’re looking for a Bilingual (Spanish-English) Patient Coordinator / Medical Assistant to join our growing team.

About the Role

This position bridges both patient care and coordination. You’ll be the friendly, trusted point of contact for our Spanish-speaking patients—helping them feel comfortable, understood, and confident throughout their journey. You’ll also play a key role in converting leads into consultations and procedures, supporting our sales and administrative operations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison for Spanish-speaking patients — translating, explaining procedures, and ensuring clear communication.
  • Follow up with new leads, answer inquiries, and help guide patients through scheduling consultations and surgery dates.
  • Confidently communicate the value of our services and assist in closing consultations into booked procedures.
  • Support the front office with daily administrative tasks (emails, phone calls, charting, appointment coordination).
  • Assist in minor medical or pre/post-op tasks as directed by the surgeon or clinical staff.
  • Maintain an upbeat, empathetic, and professional demeanor with all patients.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills — especially with patients over the phone and in person.
  • Experience in a medical, aesthetic, or sales-focused environment preferred.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and a patient-first mindset.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented practice.
