Phlebotomist II – Fredericksburg, VA (Full-Time, Onsite)
Location: Fredericksburg, VA 22401
Contract- 3+months
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $23/HR - $25.28/HR
Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist II to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our busy Patient Service Center (PSC) in Fredericksburg, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform quality blood draws on patients of all ages – pediatrics through geriatrics
• Handle high patient volume—approximately 35–40 draws daily at a site that sees around 150 patients per day
• Work closely with one other phlebotomist as part of a fast-paced, collaborative team
• Ensure proper specimen labeling, handling, and transport
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Provide support during specimen processing and data entry as needed
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience required
• Experience drawing blood from both pediatric and geriatric patients is required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the day
• TB test and color vision screening required
• Required vaccinations: Hepatitis B, MMR, T-DAP, Flu (if still on assignment during flu season), and Varicella
• COVID-19 vaccine not required for this role
• Training will be conducted at the same PSC location
