Post-Production Manager

We Can Do Hard Things and New Major Women’s Sports Show

Part-Time | In-Person & Remote (Los Angeles) | Start Date: ASAP

We’re looking for a seasoned Post-Production Manager to lead the full video and audio post pipeline across two high-profile weekly podcast series:

  • We Can Do Hard Things , the award-winning, chart-topping podcast hosted by Glennon Doyle, Abby Wambach, and Amanda Doyle . It is one of the most beloved and top-performing podcasts in the world, with more than a half a billion plays since it launched as the #1 podcast on Apple.

  • A bold new women’s sports podcast hosted by Abby Wambach and Julie Foudy - forever teammates, beloved soccer legends, and loyal friends. It is a smart, joyful, high-energy celebration of the power and community of women’s sports, launching in September with two episodes per week - and featuring the iconic Billie Jean King as a regular contributor.

This is a hands-on role for a technical and creative powerhouse - someone who can engineer high-quality recordings, edit, mix, and master audio and video content, and quickly turn around polished episodes and assets that are visually clean, sonically excellent, and delivered on time, every time.

If you know your way around every corner of the video & audio post workflow - from setting up multi-cam video podcast sessions to integrating graphics and sponsor spots - and you thrive under deadline pressure without sacrificing quality, we want to hear from you.

Roles & Responsibilities

Own Weekly Video & Audio Post-Production Across Two Shows (4 eps/week):

  • Edit, mix, and master two video/audio podcast episodes per week for each show (4 total)
  • Handle multi-cam video editing and audio post with attention to pacing, tone, and clarity
  • Incorporate motion graphics, titles, and episode art, as needed
  • Edit and seamlessly integrate all ads and sponsorship assets into final video episodes, following direction from the sales and production teams
  • Edit and finalize all audio ads and send to each show producers for upload

Engineer All Recordings:

  • Run the video & audio capture of each session, in-person and remote
  • Ensure clean, high-quality source files across hosts, guests, and locations
  • Troubleshoot issues in real time to keep sessions running smoothly

Lead Post Workflow:

  • Organize and manage all media, edit timelines, and final exports
  • Send cuts to producers and talent for review
  • Implement notes quickly and efficiently
  • Deliver final episodes and assets to spec and on schedule each week
  • Sort and store all recordings, with access given to internal producer

Maintain Technical Excellence:

  • Continuously optimize workflow for speed, consistency, and quality
  • Troubleshoot video/audio issues across hardware, software, or remote platforms
  • Maintain organization across multiple shows and production calendars

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in video podcast post-production
  • Familiarity with We Can Do Hard Things - you have a strong sense of the show’s tone, pacing, and style, and can reflect that in your work
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Pro Tools, DaVinci Resolve , or similar software
  • Strong knowledge of multi-cam recording/editing , audio mixing/mastering, and A/V engineering
  • Experience working with talent and adapting to creative notes with care and speed
  • Ability to own the entire post-production process from recording to final export
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight turnarounds

If you’re ready to lead production and post-production for two major podcasts and help shape their presence week in and week out, we’d love to hear from you.
