Program Manager

Watertown, Wisconsin (Hybrid option after 90 days)
About the Role
Wisconsin Corn is seeking a collaborative and organized Program Manager to support all aspects of our work, including membership engagement, communications, events, grower programs, and day-to-day operations. This position works closely with the Executive Director to advance the interests of Wisconsin’s corn growers and strengthen relationships with members, partners, and stakeholders.
ResponsibilitiesMembership Engagement
• Assist with membership renewals, invoicing, outreach, and benefit programs
• Support member communication, meeting scheduling, and follow-up actions
• Help develop and maintain membership materials and orientation sessions
New Member Recruitment
• Assist in identifying membership prospects through outreach and events
• Support the development and distribution of recruitment materials
• Coordinate prospect outreach with organizational leadership
Communications and Media
• Assist with social media, newsletters, website updates, and digital content
• Support communication strategies across print, digital, and media channels
• Help prepare press releases and coordinate media inquiries
Programs and Events
• Support planning and execution of events, grower programs, and stakeholder outreach
• Assist with registration, sponsorship coordination, and on-site logistics
• Help coordinate programs such as the Corn Yield Contest and seed coupon program
Operations and Administrative Support
• Contribute to daily office operations, phone coverage, mailings, and meeting preparation
• Assist with CORN PAC administrative tasks
• Collaborate with a small team to support organizational priorities
QualificationsRequired
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, agriculture, or related field; or equivalent experience
• Agriculture experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the year, with heavy travel from January to April
Preferred
• Experience with WordPress or CRM/membership databases
• Background or interest in agriculture or rural communities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small team
Work Environment• On-site in Watertown, WI during the first 90 days
• Hybrid work option available after successful probationary period
