Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Work Shift: Night Shift (Full-time, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
• Emergency Patient Care: Perform rapid and comprehensive patient assessments, triage, and implement evidence-based treatment plans for a wide range of acute conditions and injuries.
• Critical Interventions & Coordination: Administer medications, perform advanced procedures, and coordinate care seamlessly with physicians, techs, and other specialists. Prioritize actions in critical situations and respond to emergencies decisively.
• Patient Advocacy & Communication: Provide empathetic, patient-centered care and clear communication to patients and families during stressful situations. Deliver exceptional customer service with high empathy.
• Team Collaboration & Safety: Work collaboratively within a respected, high-performing team in a department with below-industry average turnover. Uphold all safety standards, policies, and participate in performance improvement and shared governance.
• Professional Development: Maintain all required advanced certifications. May serve as a preceptor or mentor, contributing to a healthy work environment and the development of future ER nurses.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key skills; Registered Nurse (RN), Emergency Department (ED), BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, Night Shift
• Licensure: Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license or Multi-State Compact RN license.
• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Diploma in Nursing, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• BSN preferred.
• CURRENT UPDATED RESUME IS REQUIRED FOR REVIEW.
• Certifications: All required upon hire (or provisional status as noted):
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Provisional acceptance within 180 days may apply.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Provisional acceptance within 180 days may apply.
• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) – Provisional acceptance within 18 months may apply.
• Experience: Completion of an accredited nursing program with required clinical hours.
• ER/ED RN experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced acute care setting (e.g., ICU, Critical Care) may be considered.
• Skills: Exceptional customer service, interpersonal skills, and high empathy are essential.
• Must possess strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to function decisively under pressure. Excellent time management and teamwork skills are required.
