Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee and optimize the billing and revenue operations within our healthcare organization in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is integral to ensuring efficient financial processes while maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in medical billing, management, and revenue cycle operations. Responsibilities: - Supervise the organization's billing and revenue processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations. - Develop strategies to maximize cash flow while fostering positive relationships with patients and partners. - Lead daily operations related to the revenue cycle, addressing challenges and implementing solutions. - Analyze current processes, create documentation, and train staff to build a cohesive revenue cycle team. - Manage accounts receivable, billing, and coding teams, including direct oversight of approximately 22 employees. - Implement measures to reduce accounts receivable days and enhance daily collections. - Utilize advanced Excel tools and healthcare software, such as Allscripts, to streamline operations and reporting. - Ensure adherence to fee billing standards and third-party payer regulations. - Collaborate with leadership to address operational impacts of healthcare regulatory requirements. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving within the revenue cycle team. Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field. + Minimum of five (5) years of experience in medical billing, including at least three (3) years in a supervisory or leadership capacity. + In-depth knowledge of billing practices, reimbursement methodologies, and medical terminology. + Proven track record of effectively managing, developing, and inspiring team members. + Solid understanding of healthcare compliance standards and regulatory guidelines. + Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a high level of accuracy. + Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and database systems for data analysis and reporting. + Preferred background in medical coding, billing operations, and physician credentialing procedures.
