SEM Summer Internship

About the Internship:

Are you a bright and enthusiastic individual eager to dive into the exciting world of search engine marketing ? Versa Creative is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented SEM Intern to join our dynamic team this summer. This internship offers the chance to work directly with our experienced marketing professionals, contribute to real-world projects, and develop key skills in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising.

Please note: This is an unpaid internship intended for educational and professional development purposes. Ideal for students or early-career professionals looking to build hands-on experience in SEO and PPC.

SEO Support:

• SEO Strategy & Auditing: Assist in conducting SEO audits of our web properties under the guidance of the team. Support the development of strategic SEO recommendations.
• Data Analysis: Learn and utilize Google Analytics to track and analyze website performance, identifying key trends and areas for improvement.
• Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-potential search terms for our online content and marketing initiatives.
• SEMrush Platform Utilization: Learn to navigate and utilize SEMrush for keyword research, site audits, and competitive analysis. Contribute to finding ways to maximize our internal use of the platform.
• Internal Account Support: Provide a fresh perspective and support the optimization of our internal web properties to improve organic visibility and user engagement. Collaborate with the marketing team on SEO initiatives.

PPC Support:

• Negative Keyword Research: Assist in identifying and implementing negative keywords to optimize our PPC campaigns and improve ad efficiency.
• PPC Ad Copy Suggestions: Contribute creative and effective ad copy ideas for our PPC campaigns.
• Business Development Research: Support the team with research related to business development opportunities within the search engine marketing landscape.
• Google Shopping Support: Assist with auditing Google Shopping product data feeds (if applicable) to ensure accuracy and optimize performance.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Google Analytics or other web analytics platforms is a plus.
• Basic understanding of SEO and PPC concepts is beneficial but not required.
• A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
