Position Overview

Sunflower Communities is seeking a dedicated Lead Caregiver to join our team and provide compassionate care to our residents. The Lead Caregiver plays a key role in providing hands-on care, mentoring caregivers, and ensuring high-quality support for residents . This position is responsible for assisting with daily living activities, overseeing shift responsibilities, and fostering a positive environment where residents receive the care they deserve .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and person-centered care to residents in an assisted living setting
  
• Assist with daily activities including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and medication management
  
• Lead and mentor caregivers to ensure high standards of care and resident safety
  
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for both residents and team members
  
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  
• Document care provided and assist with administrative tasks as needed
  
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare is required, with a CNA certification required.
  
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support a team
  
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or behavioral health settings is a plus
