Fairfax County headquartered Virginia community bank has an immediate need for a forward-thinking SVP Commercial Loan Operations & Servicing who can make change happen. Will be responsible for the overall management of commercial, SBA, consumer, and residential mortgage loan operations and servicing and will provide the vision and hold the team accountable for their various areas of the operation.

SVP Loan Operations & Servicing will be responsible to:

• Lead and improve loan operations including commercial, consumer, SBA, and residential mortgage loans
• Supervise daily, weekly, and monthly workflow by defining the Residential, Consumer, and Commercial Loan Servicing needs, objectives, and resources and collaborating with management to achieve them
• Establish a continuous process improvement system – educate and grow the staff and improve operational efficiencies
• Conduct the post-closing document audit, investor remittance, loan maintenance, loan servicing, tax escrow, insurance, loan payment, collateral, participation loans, construction loans, quality control audit functions, report writing paid loans, and accurate document retention functions
• Work with system providers to utilize applications to the fullest capacity, streamlining processes and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Ideal SVP Loan Operations & Servicing:

• Hand-on leader boarding through servicing
• Experience with commercial, residential mortgage, consumer, and SBA loans
• Change agent, process improver, and efficiency creator desired
• Loan Operations experience (loan closing and servicing) 80% commercial loans
• Must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills
