Job Description

A UI/UX Designer is needed to join our Cloud team and play a key role in shaping seamless, customer-focused digital experiences. This role blends user experience research and strategy with user interface design and delivery, ensuring our products are intuitive, scalable, and visually engaging across platforms. The ideal candidate combines analytical problem-solving with creative design skills, has a product-oriented mindset, and thrives in agile environments. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure customer insights drive both the experience and the interface.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the discovery phase by mapping customer journeys and end-to-end experiences.
  • Conduct usability research, interviews, and workshops to integrate customer feedback into product design.
  • Map customer journeys and workflows to identify pain points and opportunities.
  • Create service blueprints, wireframes, and prototypes to validate usability and design concepts.
  • Apply design thinking methodologies to define and solve user problems.
  • Ensure all designs are grounded in customer insights and usability principles.
  • Create high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications.
  • Develop and maintain a design system, ensuring consistency across products.
  • Define and apply visual styles, typography, and interaction patterns.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
  • Iterate on UI using customer feedback, usability data, and performance metrics.
  • Partner with product managers and engineers in an agile development environment.
  • Present and communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Participate in design critiques and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Balance business requirements, customer needs, and technical feasibility in all design decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role in product-driven organizations.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX research/discovery and UI execution.
  • Experience conducting usability research, customer interviews, and blueprint mapping.
  • Skilled in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and prototyping tools.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability testing, and design systems.
  • Strong visual design skills with attention to detail in typography, layout, and interaction.
  • Familiarity with agile product development and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and justify design decisions.

  • Experience in cloud platforms or technical product domains.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
  • Familiarity with design systems at scale.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts.
  • Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
