Job Title: Credit Analyst (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Onsite (5 days/week to start; hybrid flexibility once up to speed)

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join our client's team in the manufacturing sector. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering career growth and long-term stability. The Credit Analyst will review financial statements, credit reports, and company history to assess creditworthiness, produce Debtor Risk Assessments (DRA) , and monitor risk exposure across a portfolio of buyers.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct phone interviews and occasional field visits to gather financial and business information.
Analyze financial data, industry reports, and company-specific details to produce accurate and insightful Debtor Reports.
Monitor portfolio risk, revise DRAs as needed, and react promptly to claims activity or alerts from external sources.
Ensure accuracy and coherence of DRAs, respecting established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Communicate adverse information and risk updates to underwriters and management.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with underwriting and information teams.
Qualifications
3-4 years of relevant work experience in the manufacturing industry (required).
Strong understanding of macroeconomic and industry sector drivers impacting creditworthiness.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and strong internet research skills.
Natural ability to ask thoughtful, probing questions and follow-up effectively.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
