Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Buyer at Vickery Wholesale Greenhouse located in Dallas, TX. The Purchasing Buyer will be responsible for managing and executing purchasing processes, handling purchase orders, and maintaining supplier relationships. Additional responsibilities include conducting market research, analyzing purchasing patterns, and ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained. The role requires effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with Purchasing Processes and Purchasing systems
• Proficiency in generating and managing Purchase Orders
• Strong Analytical Skills to analyze purchasing data and market trends
• Excellent Communication skills for interacting with suppliers, team members, and customers
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Customer Service skills
• Previous experience in the plant greenhouse industry is a plus
• Must have some plant knowledge about interior plants
